구본창은 9월 15일부터 11월 14일까지 혜곡최순우기념관(최순우 옛집)에서 ‘구본창·이승희, 조선백자의 혼을 담다’ 전에 참여한다. 혜곡최순우기념관은 국립중앙박물관 관장을 지낸 최순우(1916~1984)의 성북동 자택을 복원한 한옥으로 시민문화유산 1호로 지정해 내셔널트스러트 문화유산기금에서 관리하고 있다. 이번 전시에서 구본창은 조선백자의 본질과 아름다움을 독창적인 사진적 해법으로 풀어낸 백자 연작 15점을 출품하여 선보일 예정이다.
 
Koo Bohnchang will be participating in the "Koo Bohnchang · Lee Seung Hee, Embodying the Spirit of Joseon White Porcelain" exhibition at Hyegok Choi Sunu Memorial Hall (Choi Sunu House) opening September 15th to November 14th. A former director of the National Museum of Korea, Choi Sunu's (1916~1984) Hanok (traditional Korean-style home) Seongbuk-dong home was restored into Hyegok Choi Sunu Memorial Hall. As the first designated Civic Cultural Heritage, it is managed by the National Trust Cultural Heritage Fund, Korea today. Koo Bohnchang will present a series of 15 white porcelain works representing the essence and beauty of Joseon white porcelain in his own photographic aesthetics.
