국제갤러리의 단색화 주요 작가들은2016년 1월부터 전세계에서 활발하게 전시를 개최하며 단색화 열풍을 이어나간다. 이우환, 박서보, 하종현, 권영우, 정상화는 2016년 1월 16일부터 3월 12일까지 미국 LA에 소재한 블럼앤포 갤러리(Blum & Poe) 에서 열리는 그룹전 <단색화와 미니멀리즘>에 참여하며 해외 미술 거장들과 어깨를 나란히 한다. 1960년부터 현재까지 이어지는 미니멀리즘 작가들과 단색화 작가들의 작품 약 25점이 전시되며 각각의 사조가 가진 미학과 개념의 다양성을 비교하고 살펴보는 기회를 마련한다.
이외에도 박서보는 2016년 1월 15일부터 3월 12일까지 영국 런던의 저명한 화이트 큐브 갤러리(White Cube Gallery)에서 개인전 을 갖는다. 그는 단색화 사조가 가장 활발했던 60년대부터 80년대 작품들을 선보이며 한국 역사와 미술의 연관성을 심도 있게 보여줄 예정이다. 박서보는 또한 프랑스 파리 소재의 패로탱 갤러리 (Galerie Perrotin)에서 1월 9일부터 2월 27일까지 단체전 을 기획하며 국내작가 최명영, 서승원, 이승조 작가의 추상회화 작품을 전시할 예정이다.

Major Dansaekhwa artists represented by Kukje Gallery will hold exhibitions around the globe, highlighting the international interest that continues to surround the Dansaekhwa movement. Chung Sang-Hwa, Ha Chong-Hyun, Kwon Young-Woo, Lee Ufan, and Park Seo-Bo will participate in the group exhibition Dansaekhwa and Minimalism at Blum & Poe, Los Angeles, from January 16th to March 12th. The exhibition will consist of 25 works of Minimalism and Dansaekhwa artists from the 1960’s to the present, displaying an opportunity to examine and compare the various artistic philosophies and approaches for the respective movements. 
Park Seo-Bo will also hold a solo exhibition Park Seo-Bo Écriture 1967-1981 from January 15th to March 12th at White Cube Gallery in London, England. A presentation of his works from 1960s to 1980s, the period when the Dansaekhwa movement was most active, and the works will show an in-depth connection between Korean history and art. Park Seo-Bo will also curate the group exhibition Origin at Galerie Perrotin in Paris, France. From January 9th to February 27th, works by Korean abstract painters Choi Myung Young, Suh Seung-Won, and Lee Seung Jio will be on view.
