국제갤러리의 우고 론디노네는 2017년 8월 20일까지 미국 오하이오 신시내티에 위치한 Contemporary Arts Center에서 개인전 <let’s start this day again>을 개최 한다. 본 전시에서 작가는 컬러 스펙트럼 시리즈를 새롭게 재해석하여 선보이며, 미술관 공간과 어우러져 전시를 관람하는 관람객들에게 독특하고 종합적인 경험을 제공한다. 론디노네의 대표작들인 네온 무지개, 창유리 위에 그려진 컬러 젤 작업, 떠 다니는 만다라, 경계를 흐릿하게 처리한 타겟 페인팅, 색으로 칠해진 창문들, 그리고 실물 크기의 삐에로 조각들이 설치되어 다채로운 색감으로 하여금 다양한 감각기관을 자극하게 한다. 또한, 작가는 미술관들이 고수하는 하얀색 벽을 형광색으로 대체함으로서 기존의 미술관에 대한 관념에 도전한다.

Ugo Rondinone is featured in a solo exhibition titled let’s start this day again at the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center (hereafter CAC) from May 6 to August 20, 2017. This exhibition features a new iteration of the artist’s color spectrum series, congregating his art, the gallery’s architecture and every visitor as collaborators in an all-encompassing experience. The exhibition will include a neon rainbow, colored gels on the windows, floating mandalas, blurred target paintings, painted windows, gradient color walls and a surreal cast of life-size, clown sculptures, collectively serving as one extensive collage. let’s start this day again provides the viewer an opportunity to re-experience the CAC in a new charade of florescent colors as opposed to its original neutral concrete walls, challenging the way visitors see and understand the CAC.
