국제갤러리의 양혜규 작가는 2011년 6월 영국 옥스포드 소재 모던 아트 옥스포드 미술관에서 열렸던 개인전 <무용 선생 Teacher of Dance>과 9월에 미국 아스펜 미술관에서 열린 <축지법 The Art and Technique of Folding the Land>전과 연계하여 <양혜규 – 중력을 거스른 야성 Haegue Yang: Wild Against Gravity>를 출판한다.
양혜규 작가와 디자이너 마뉴엘 레더의 공동 작업으로 출판된 이번 출간물은 아티스트 북과 전시 도록의 성격을 겸비하도록 기획되었다. 미국 UC 버클리 대학의 앤 와그너 명예교수, 영국 쿠톨드 대학의 쥴리안 스탈라브라스 교수의 에세이를 포함하며, 아스펜 미술관 디렉터 하이디 주커만 제이콥슨의 에세이 및 작가 인터뷰, 그리고 양혜규 작가의 스튜디오 매니저 카타리나 슈베렌트의 작가 약력 등의 텍스트를 수록하여 포괄적이고 전문적인 이해를 돕는다.

Haegue Yang: Wild Against Gravity is a catalogue to mark the exhibitions Teacher of Dance at Modern Art Oxford and The Art and Technique of Folding the Land Aspen Art Museum, which took place in 2011.
The fully-illustrated publication features newly-commissioned essays by Professor Anne Wagner, Professor Emerita at the University of California, Berkeley, US and Professor Julian Stallabrass, Reader at the Courtauld Institute, UK. It also contains an essay by Heidi Zuckerman Jacobson, Director and Chief Curator, Aspen Art Museum, an interview with Haegue Yang, and a comprehensive biographical text by Katharina Schwerendt, studio manager of the Haegue Yang studio. The book was conceived in close collaboration between Haegue Yang and the designer Manuel Raeder.
